The DDHS FFA Horse Judging Team made it to state for the second year in a row. In 2009, the group of freshman girls consisting of Megan Winchell, Stephanie Anderson, Bailey Abbott, and Abby Jensen, made it to state by luck. In 2010, they had more than just luck on their side because they placed 5th overall at the Platteville judging in March. At the state judging, held at the UW-Madison campus and a horse farm in Belleville, they had placed very well and gained more knowledge and understanding. We congratulate the girls on a job well done and hope for the best next year.
