The 2010 summer started with a great high note as Stephanie Anderson sang her way into the Wisconsin State FFA Honors Chorus. Along with delegate Abby Jensen, Stephanie attended the Wisconsin State FFA Convention from June 15 to 17th. The convention was held at the Alliant Energy Exhibition halls in Madison, Wisconsin. Stephanie spent her time with the chorus practicing their music and performing for the members, advisors, and guests. Abby spent some her time as a delegate representing Delavan- Darien as a group discussion leader on the topic of Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) and she also helped choose the new 2010-2011 Section X state officer. The girls had a great time learning about other projects taken place, careers in agriculture, attending workshops, meeting new people from all over the state of Wisconsin, and watching and listening to motivation speakers, such as Jeff Yalden. Overall, the week was a success and Stephanie and Abby walked away with more goals and better understandings.
